Mourning Doves do fall in love. Sometimes both parties are willing participants as this photography clearly shows. Sometimes, however, there is just one party interested and the other isn't and that is when the male puffs himself up and grunts an erotic greeting the female usually ignores.



Obviously, this couple have settled all those disputes and are in the mood. I didn't really disturb them as I was too far away and inside the house looking out. I think they were just checking (with eyes open) to make sure the kids were not around, watching.

Still toying with the an idea. I am no longer up to date on the details of EFx2 or 3 or whatever.

It wasn't that us folks were not educated, but we believed anything printed in a newspaper was true. Nowadays newspapers are failing faster than love and marriage in the 21st Century, because they are filled up with spam advertising and put out less news than the Huffington Post on the Internet. None of the newspaper news is the real thing anymore. I got tired of paying for advertising I didn't want and news I already knew about so I quit subscribing after 47 years of reading a newpaper with a cup of coffee. Since it was long before everybody had television, we heard our good news over a Philco Radio. And Kool ads were really cool. You smoked them to get rid of sore throats and headaches, or I did; like everybody else.

Mankind lives through two ages — the first "diaper age" and the last "diaper age." If you are still before the last age, then you already know that headaches are manufactured by companies that produce all of those medicinal remedies on drug store shelves. No longer does a pharmacist have to go behind the counter for Kool cigarettes, Trojan rubbers and medicine stronger than Carter Little Liver Pills — customers just walk in and pick the stuff up themselves.
